Registered Teacher Programme (RTP)

The RTP is similar to the Graduate Teacher Programme; the key difference is that registered teachers begin the programme before completion of a first degree. To commence training, registered teachers must be part way through degree studies and have 240 CATs points in place; this leaves further modules totalling 120 CATs points to be completed alongside the school-based teacher training programme.

Currently STTORMM has no provision for RTP. Further general information regarding RTP is available on the TDA website.
